GLOBAL - Allianz, BlackRock, Catella, Deutsche Hypo, Heitman, Hudson, ING Real Estate Finance, JLL, Legal & General, Savills
Allianz Global Investors - Armin Sandhoevel, who has served as chief executive at Allianz Climate Solutions (ACS) for more than five years, will lead the renewable energies/infrastructure equity team as CIO. He is joined by five colleagues from the investment side of ACS, including Roderick MacDonald and Martin Ewald as portfolio managers.
BlackRock - James Wilkinson and Christoph Wagner join the company as European chief investment officer for BlackRock's global real estate securities platform and director of the European real estate debt group, respectively. Wilkinson will join the company in January, reporting to global head of real estate securities Mark Howard-Johnson. Wagner, who has previously worked at Barclays Capital and Morgan Stanley, will oversee the origination of senior and mezzanine debt transactions in the EMEA region from BlackRock's London office.
Catella - David Rückel joins as head of institutional business for the European company's German KAG, based in Munich. He will advise the company's institutional clients and assume Alexandra Boos' responsibilities for the length of her maternity leave. Rückel has previously worked as managing director of Wells Real Asset Management and spent time at OneBridgehouse and Oppenheimer.
Deutsche Hypo - Andreas Pohl has been reconfirmed as board member. The bank's supervisory board last week renewed his contract for five years, following his appointment in March 2008. Prior to this, Pohl was global head of commercial real estate finance at Nord/LB. He has worked at Deutsche Hypo's parent company for 33 years.
Heitman - Jacques Perdrix and David Stubbs join as vice-president in the European listed securities investment team and global macro strategy analyst, respectively. Based in the London office, they will report to Mark Abramson. Perdrix spent time at London-based hedge fund Gugner Partners and began his career at Citigroup as an investment banker. Stubbs previously worked at Roubini Global Economics and has spent time working at the United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs.
Hudson Advisors - Philippe Couturier was named Hudson's European president at the beginning of the month. He joins the company after 16 years at Archon Group, where he was managing director and head of loan asset management and acquisitions for Europe.
ING Real Estate Finance - Martin Knof joins from JP Morgan as managing director and head of the company's German branch. Knof, who has experience in relationship management, structured finance and distribution, has also worked at Deutsche Bank in London in the past.
Jones Lang LaSalle - Lee Elliott will take on new responsibility in addition to his role as head of EMEA occupier research, from the beginning of next year responsible for all research based in the region. Elliott, who has been with JLL for more than a decade, will continue to be based in the London office, reporting to EMEA management board member Robert Bonwell and Vincent Lottefier, chief executive of EMEA corporate solutions. Meanwhile, Timo Tschammler has assumed his new management board role at the company's German subsidiary, following six months' garden leave in the wake of his departure as chief executive of DTZ Germany.
Legal & General Property - Neil Crawford has been appointed retail development manager, reporting to director of investment and development Gordon Aitchinson. Crawford previously worked at Hammerson as development manager and, in common with LGP's head of retail development Simon Russian, spent time at Wilson Bowden Developments.
Savills - Renata Kusznierska is to head the company's Polish retail agency and property management teams based in Warsaw. Kusznierska has more than a decade of experience in Polish and Central and Eastern European real estate, previously working at Carrefour Property Poland and building DTZ's retail agency team for Central Europe.
