The Dutch health and welfare pension scheme PGGM has appointed Roderick Munsters as its new director of investments, based in Zeist.

He takes up the position in the new year and will take over from Gerard Wieringa, who retires at the end of 1997. Munsters, who is 33, is currently deputy director of investments at insurance group Interpolis in Tilburg. PGGM has assets of around Dfl75bn ($37.8bn).
