Princeton Financial Systems has teamed up with management consulting and IT firm NewtonPartners. Under the agreement, NewtonPartners will become a recommended provider of systems consulting and programming services to users of Princeton Financial Systems’ PAM investment management systems.
NewtonPartners offers systems integration services and specialises in the investment management industry. It has a strong track record of using the PAM software development kit (SDK), says Princeton Financial Systems, and this experience will enable developers to build customised add-on systems, reports and import/export applications around the base of the PAM system.
The partnership will help clients who want to use the SDK but lack the technical resources, the company says.
“The SDK provides fast and flexible ways to access information stored in PAM,” says Chris Spurrell, president of NewtonPartners. “It gives users the tools to streamline business processes for T+1 and straight-through-processing, and allows them to significantly extend the functionality of the core PAM system.” NewtonPartners’ development centre approach now meansPAM users can exploit the power of the SDK in a very cost-effective way, he adds.
Princeton Financial Systems is an independent subsidiary of State Street Corporation.
