UK- Bank of America has appointed Arrington Mixon as European head of its global markets group.

Mixon will be responsible for servicing investing and issuer clients in Europe with a full range of the bank’s products. These include foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity derivatives, treasury, high grade and high yield, syndicated debt, emerging markets and distressed debt.

Mixon, who has been with BoA since 1982, will report to William Fall, the bank’s president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and to Duncan Goldie-Morrison, head of the global markets group. She replaces Fall who was promoted to his current position last year.

Mixon’s previous roles at the bank include head of structuring and origination, co-head of leveraged finance, and most recently head of sales, trading and research.
