NETHERLANDS – Fortis PrimeBanking, the Dutch group’s investment services provider to funds and alternative investment funds, has opened an Amsterdam office adding to its existing operations in London and New York.

The firm, which provides investment solutions such as combined custody and securities lending products, says the move follows the increase in the number of independent fund managers in the Netherlands and in Continental Europe.

The Amsterdam branch will be headed by Rens Laan and will co-ordinate its activities with its New York and London sister operations.
