Gascoine joins AXA in key pensions role

UK- AXA Investment Managers has appointed Bruce Gascoine as a director in the UK Institutional sales team. As part of his new role, he will be responsible for business development within the pension fund and insurance markets.

Gascoine joins AXA from Julius Baer Investments where he was Institutional Business Development Director. He has 16 years’ experience of trading and sales in debt capital markets including spells in London and Paris with Barclays Capital, SG Warburg, CCF and Banque Indosuez.

Commenting on the appointment, Virginia Holmes, CEO of AXA IM in the UK, said: “Bruce’s appointment underlines our commitment to establishing AXA IM as a leading player in the institutional market following the launch of our institutional pooled fund range at the end of last year.

“He has tremendous experience of institutional sales, particularly in fixed income, and we look forward to welcoming him to the team.”
