Hewitt surveys European corporate governance
EUROPE – Consulting firm Hewitt is currently conducting a Europe-wide study into corporate governance.
The firm is inviting the top 500 listed companies in Europe to participate in its “Corporate Governance and Executive Remuneration Study”.
“The study will explore the current practices and future plans of major companies in Europe,” Hewitt says on its web site.
The report will “provide executives and corporate leaders with actionable knowledge about new corporate governance policies being forged in response to new EC guidelines, forthcoming regulatory requirements, and greater market concerns”.
The study is underway now and will be completed in September and the results will be presented in October at a forum in Brussels.
