ISMA appoints new board at AGM

LUXEMBOURG – Members of the Zurich based International Securities Market Association (ISMA) have elected a new member and re-appointed four existing members to the board of the association, at its annual general meeting in Luxembourg today (June 7).
Henrik Normann of Copenhagen based Danske Bank joins the board for the first time for a three-year term.

The re-elected members are Cristiano Carrus of Banco Popolare di Verona - Banco San Geminiano e San Prospero, Luc Caytan of Kredietbank Luxembourgeoise, Jonathan Chenevich-Trench of London based Morgan Stanley & Co International, and Bernard Droux of Geneva based Lombard Odier & Cie.

Norbert Bräuer of Frankfurt based Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank has retired from the board. He has been replaced by Walter Henniges, managing director and head of debt capital markets at Deutsche Bank, who will complete Bräuer’s un-expired term until the next general meeting in Paris next year.

ISMA has some 590 member firms in almost 50 countries worldwide and it oversees the functioning of the market through the implementation and enforcement of a self-regulatory code covering trade, settlement and good market practice.
