NAPF names new council chairs
UK - Arno Kitts is to chair the NAPF's investment council, while Ruth Goldman will chair its benefits council.
Goldman, global head of the pension group of Linklaters, follows Michael Goy, deputy chief executive of the Railways Pension scheme, on the benefits council.
Kitts, director of institutional business at Henderson Global Investors, takes over from Coal Pensions chief executive David Morgan at the end of his two-year term.
Morgan in turn had replaced Railpen chief Chris Hitchen who was named new NAPF chairman earlier this year.
NAPF chief executive Joanne Segars said about the appointment of Kitts and Goldman that "their combined expertise will prove invaluable in informing the ongoing debate on UK pensions reform".
The association also announced that ballot papers for the election of new members to both councils will go out to NAPF members this week. Results are expected in mid April.
