NETHERLANDS - Rob Kamphuis, account manager for institutional clients at ABN Amro in the Netherlands, has left to join F&C Netherlands.

A spokesman for ABN Amro, where Kamphuis worked for 12 years, confirmed he had left the company. He also added the firm would not appoint a successor as the post would not be retained.

In his new role at F&C as senior account manager he will be supporting sales and business development, an F&C spokeswoman said.

Kamphuis will report Henk Braukink, the unit’s chief executive. “The appointment is to improve the strategy and the strengths to obtain Dutch assets and improve the Dutch business,” the spokeswoman commented.

F&C is currently undergoing a merger with UK-based Isis Investment Management.
