SWEDEN - The five billion-euro Sjunde AP-fonden, the seventh Swedish national pension fund or AP7, has renewed its socially responsible mandate with GES Investment Services.

GES said the scheme has signed a three-year contract, a renewal of its previous contract for GES’ analysis model called Global Ethical Standard. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are very pleased with the renewed mandate from AP7 and their continued confidence in our services. Especially since AP7 was a core initiator of the Global Ethical Standard and during the last year has given invaluable contribution to our development of the model,” said GES managing director Magnus Furugård.

“This agreement shows our commitment to our policy that was implemented four years ago. We are pleased to work with GES also for the three years to come,” said AP7’s executive president Peter Norman.
