The Chicago Board of Trade renewed its contract with Dow Jones to trade derivatives based on its products. CBOT chairman Nicholas Neubauer said that since the exchange had won the right to trade futures and options on the Dow Jones indices in the US in 1997, it had worked aggressively to ensure the continued liquidity and growth of the complex of products.
The product complex includes futures and futures-options on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, as well as the Dow Jones Transportation Average, the Dow Jones Utility Average, Dow Jones Composite Average and the Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index.
