SWITZERLAND – Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) has appointed Eleonora Rajmann as vice president, institutional sales for its Zurich office, in a move designed to build on the group’s retail focus in the country.

Rajmann joins from BNP Paribas in Zurich and previously worked for Bank of Tokyo, also in Zurich.

DeAM says it is building its institutional business in Europe to participate in the opportunities expected from European pension reform.

Mark Scott, head of European institutional sales and marketing , comments: “ Eleonora’s appointment reflects our determination to build up our institutional sales business in Switzerland. We already have a well established business selling retail funds and now look to build on this to compete in the institutional marketplace.”
