UK – Deutsche Asset Management has scooped the award for best UK investment manager in the Standard & Poor’s Investment Funds Performance Awards 2001.

The annual S&P gongs are the only awards to review the four main classes of collective investment funds in the UK and are measured on an individual fund and overall group basis using S&P’s relative risk adjusted methodology.

Chase Fleming picked up the title of best investment trust manager, while Fidelity triumphed for the title of best UK marketed fund manager.

Best UK individual pensions manager went to Professional Life, and the award for best UK insurance manager went to Norwich Union.
