Franklin Templeton beefs up FTI Institutional

UK- Franklin Templeton Investments is expanding FTI Institutional, its London-based marketing and client servicing division, with four new appointments. Peter Escott has been moved from manager of international marketing services to manager of UK Institutional Sales. Escott is tasked with building consultant and market awareness of Templeton’s global equity exempt fund.

Gayda Humphries is replacing Escott as the new manager of international marketing services. She joins from JP Morgan Fleming AM where she worked for seven years and was a senior member of the institutional marketing department.

Templeton has also lured Dennis Kwist from WestLB Asset Management and made him marketing manager for northern Europe. A Dutch national, Kwist will be involved in expanding the existing Dutch client base.

Adam Quaife also joins the marketing services team from AXA Investment Managers in Australia where he worked as a business development manager.

Said marketing director William Babtie: “Templeton’s global equity capabilities, Franklin’s US equity strengths, and Fiduciary Trust’s reputation in global small cap management are being increasingly recognised in the UK and European institutional marketplace. This is part of our long-term commitment to provide the top quality service and products to the international Institutional market.”
