AUSTRALIA/UK – Henderson Global Investors is extending its global SRI fund range by launching three socially responsible investment funds in Australia.
The funds, Sustainable Future Balanced Growth Fund, Sustainable Future International Share Fund and Sustainable Future Australian Share Fund, will be managed from Sydney and London.

“These funds mean that we shall continue to lead the development of SRI globally. “Henderson has over 20 years experience in managing SRI products, with AUS$3bn funds under management, 30 portfolios, and clients in Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, the UK and New Zealand,” says Mark Campanale, investment marketing manager of Henderson’s SRI team.

The move follows the appointments of Rob Lake as head of strategy and Nick Robins as head of research into the manager’s SRI team last December.

The performance aim of the funds is to outperform the share market indices on a rolling three-year basis.
The Australian share fund seeks to outperform the market’s Standard & Poor’s/ASX200 index.
The international share fund has been benchmarked against the MSCI World index. The distribution frequency for the funds is half-yearly and the entry fee as a percentage of each investment is 4%.
