UK – Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and Watson Wyatt LLP have both made senior appointments in the UK, hiring from Aon Consulting and ISIS Asset Management respectively.

Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow, the UK arm of Hewitt Associates, said it has hired David Eteen to its retirement and financial management line of business.

“He will be based in the firm's St Albans office and will take on responsibility for some of the firm's major clients,” it said, adding he joins from Aon, where he was a principal.

"David brings with him a great deal of experience in managing substantial client relationships and he has huge enthusiasm for the role,” said Alan Phillips, Hewitt’s head of retirement and financial management.

Meanwhile, Watson Wyatt said it has hired Richard Boardman as a senior investment consultant in its investment strategy team. He was previously with ISIS Asset Management, where he was head of risk, Watson said.

Nick Watts, European head of investment consulting at Watson Wyatt, said: “Richard will be a valuable member of our team and this appointment is a real coup for us. His skills, knowledge and experience complement the team very well and we look forward to working with him.”
