IPE Quest: Investor targets EMEA equities
IPE QUEST - A European institutional investor is looking to hire a suitable manager for its EMEA equity mandate, using IPE Quest.
Information issued in QN1118 does not reveal the exact location of the institutional investor, but the search indicates it is seeking an asset manager to run a €50m EMEA portfolio using core equities.
The investor asks that the Morgan Stanley Capital International EMEA benchmark be applied to the mandate and says it would prefer a company with at least three years of experience in global emerging markets (GEM).
While the company is not required to have a dedicated EMEA investment group, it is expected to have proven capabilities in the region and demonstrate the added value offered by EMEA, compared with GEM products.
Asset managers must hold at least €500m in GEM equity to qualify.
Performance data must be stated gross of fees to 30 June.
The closing date for entries is 12 August.
