ATP - Henrik Gade Jepsen has been promoted to chief investment officer following the departure of Bjarne Graven Larsen to become chief executive of FIH Erhvervsbank. Gade Jepsen has held a number of roles since joining in 1999, including deputy chief investment officer, as well as its head of fixed income. Prior to this, he worked at both the IMF and Realkredit Danmark.

Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering
/F&C Asset Management - Following the departure of Ernst Hagen, Wouter Jan Naborn has been named head of asset management. Hagen has moved to F&C Asset Management, where he will oversee the company's fiduciary management business, while Naborn until recently was senior asset manager at the scheme and advised the board on external manager appointments. Prior to joining Horeca in 2008, he worked at Triodos MeesPierson Sustainable Investment Management.

Bouwfonds Real Estate Investment Management
- Roman Menzel has joined the company's team in Germany as head of private clients. He will primarily be responsible for the closed-end real estate fund business, with a focus on residential and office real estate. Menzel spent more than six years working at Deutsche Bank Real Estate in Frankfurt before spending a number of years as head of sales and authorised representative of the Hamburg issuing house Wölbern Invest.

RBC Dexia Investor Services/Société Générale Securities Services - Mathieu Maurier replaces Sébastien Danloy as global head of sales and relationship management, following Danloy's move to RBC Dexia Investor Services. Danloy is set to become managing director at RBC Dexia's Luxembourg business in May, pending regulatory approval. Maurier was previously deputy head of SGSS Russia at Rosbank, and since joining Societe Generale in 1994, he has held a number of positions, including managing director for South Africa. Danloy in the past has worked for BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he was global sales manager for the UK, as well as head of business development for the Middle East. Bruno Lataste, who is currently head of global relationship management, will fill the vacancy left by Danloy's departure until Maurier assumes the position in April.

Threadneedle - Irina Miklavchich has been named fund manager in the global emerging markets equities team headed by Vanessa Donegan. She joins from Goldman Sachs, where she was executive director in the Principal Strategies Group, in charge of the EMEA long/short portfolio. Prior to this, she worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was executive director of the emerging markets team.

Quantum Advisory
- Polly Watts has joined as principal investment consultant, specialising in liability-driven investment strategies and de-risking. She joins from pension administration company rpmi, where she was head of investment consulting.

Allianz Global Investors - Chief executive Joachim Faber is set to retire at the end of the year, with Jay Ralph, currently responsible for the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) market, replacing him in 2012. Additionally, Marna Whittington will step down as chief operating officer to focus on her duties as chief executive of Allianz Global Investors Capital.

BVK - Thomas Liebi, former deputy head of asset management and interim head following Daniel Gloor's arrest for allegedly taking bribes, is leaving the BVK to join Swisscanto asset management on 1 April as chief economist. Adrian Wipf was appointed as new head of asset management at the fund last month.

European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority
- Gabriel Bernardino, former chairman of EIOPA's predecessor CEIOPS, has been elected as chairman of the new EU regulatory authority. Once his appointment has been confirmed by the European Parliament, he will begin a five-year term.

Groupama Asset Management
- Antoine de Salins, executive director of France's Fonds de réserve pour les retraites, has been named chief investment officer at the €92bn asset management company. His replacement will be announced in due course.
