GLOBAL - Skandia, Brummer Life, Insight Investment, BDO, Carmignac Gestion, International Standard Asset Management, North of South Capital

Skandia - Anneli Enquist is joining Skandia Fonder, the fund business of the Swedish pension and life insurance provider, as chief executive. She joins from competitor Länsföräkringar's asset management business, where she has been responsible for external managers. She assumes her new role on 15 September. Enquist has spent the past decade at Länsförsäkringar, joining from investment consultancy Wassum, having worked at Mercer before that. She replaces Jessica Malmfors, who left in April. At the time, Göran Karlsson took up the reins on an interim basis. Once Enquist joins, he will return to his previous role as deputy chief executive.

Brummer Life - Mats Langensjö, currently chairing the AP fund enquiry commissioned by the Swedish government, is joining Brummer Life, the life and pensions arm of the largest Nordic hedge fund provider, as chief executive. Prior to his current role, which will be wound up by the end of the summer, Langensjö worked as an investment consultant at Aon, Mercer and Wassum. He also worked in business development at Goldman Sachs and Pioneer. Langensjö joins Brummer Life on 1 August. Current chief executive Robert Lindblom will continue as a senior adviser for the business, focusing on relationships with large corporations, intermediaries and labour market partners.

Insight Investment - Serkan Bektas has been appointed co-head of solution design within the financial solutions group, the team behind the LDI and risk management business. He joins from DTZ, where he was global head of investment and asset management. Before then, he spent 10 years at Barclays Capital, where he co-founded the risk management solutions business for UK DB schemes.

BDO - Michelle Carroll and Neil Griggs have been appointed partners within the accountancy and business advisory firm's financial services team, based in London. Carroll joins from Kinetic Partners, where she managed the international audit practice. Griggs also joins from Kinetic, where he started as an audit partner in 2007.

Carmignac Gestion - David Park has been appointed co-manager of the Carmignac Emerging Discovery fund, alongside Xavier Hovasse, within the emerging equities team. Park has been with Carmignac Gestion for five years, joining from South Korean investment bank Hyundai Securities.

International Standard Asset Management - Darren Upton has joined the alternative investment managers as head of research. He joins from Man Group, where he was head of research methodology. Before then he worked for nine years at AHL.

North of South Capital - Mark Watson has been appointed marketing director at the global emerging markets fund manager. Watson, who will be based in London, joins from Daiwa and before then worked at HSBC, Credit Suisse and JPM Cazenove.
