GLOBAL - Neuberger Berman, SWIP, Punter Southall, Royal London Group, AllenbridgeEpic Investment Advisers, Pitmans Trustees

Neuberger Berman - Jenny Segal has been appointed managing director and head of institutional Europe. She will focus on UK institutional clients, with additional responsibility for developing distribution throughout the Continent. She joins from Old Mutual Asset Managers, where she was head of institutional and hedge fund business. Before then, she worked at Alliance Bernstein and Baring Asset Management.

SWIP - Peter Marsland has been appointed client director. He will be responsible for providing specialist support for pension fund clients on de-risking. He joins from Insight Investment, where he managed a number of key accounts. Before then, he worked at AXA Rosenberg, Fidelity International and Deutsche Asset Management.
 
Punter Southall - The company has strengthened its DC consulting arm with the recruitment of a principal and three senior consultants. Jon Webster, a former director of Heath Lambert Consulting, joins as a principal. Andrew Constantinou, formerly of Prudential and Hymans Robertson, joins as a consultant, as do Darren Hedgley and Ian Dearnley. Hedgley has worked at Bluefin, Aon and Devon County Council, while Dearnley has spent most of his 24-year career at Aon.

Royal London Group - Jane Platt, Kathryn Matthews and David Weymouth have been appointed to the board as non-executive directors. Platt is currently chief executive and director of savings for National Savings & Investments, while Matthews was chief investment officer for Asia Pacific ex Japan at Fidelity International. Weymouth is currently group operations and risk director at RSA Insurance Group.

AllenbridgeEpic Investment Advisers - John Jones has joined the investment adviser to UK pension funds as a senior adviser. He has worked in senior management posts in local government finance and has served as director of finance at two London Boroughs - Ealing and Islington. In recent years, he has been working independently, carrying out several senior level interim management appointments covering a wide range of financial management issues.

Pitmans Trustees - Kathleen Duncan has been appointed charities adviser within the specialist charity unit. She was director general at Lloyds TSB Foundation for 15 years and deputy chair of the Association of Charitable Foundations. Before then, she served as trustee, independent assessor, chair, deputy chair and commissioner at a wide range of institutions.
