GLOBAL - Aon Hewitt, Hermes Fund Managers, State Street Corporation, Swiss Foundation for Real Estate Investments, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Managers, Rockspring Property Investment Managers, The Carlyle Group, Heleba

Aon Hewitt - Rachael Ingle and Donal Casey have been named joint managing directors of the Irish business, following the successful integration of both consultancies in the country. Ingle, who has been with Hewitt since 1998, is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, as well as a council member of the Irish Association of Pension Funds. Casey, who in the past was chief executive of Irish Life Corporate Business, joined Aon in 2009.

Hermes Fund Managers - Simon Cartwright has joined the company as director of UK institutional and global consultants, while Jill Renwick has been appointed as director of UK business development. Cartwright joins from AXA Investment Managers, where he was global head of consultant relations. Renwick spent more than 10 years with Fidelity International, most recently as director of the EMEA institutional group, responsible for new business and client relationships.

State Street Corporation - Alessandro Ricci has been appointed chief risk officer for State Street's Global Services business in Italy. Ricci will be responsible for risk control monitoring and management and oversee State Street's local risk requirements. He will also collaborate with the risk management team globally on business development across Europe. He has worked at McKinsey for the last six years and before then at Arthur Andersen MBA and Custody Control and Security.

Swiss Foundation for Real Estate Investments - Former Swiss Re board member Peter Forstmoser has joined the board of AFIAA. Forstmoser currently works as a lawyer and holds a doctorate in business law. In addition to his role as partner at law firm Niederer Kraft & Fret, he is a member of the governing board of Mikron Holding, as well as PSP Swiss Property.

Edmond de Rothschild Investment Managers - Laurent Minvielle has joined Edmond de Rothschild Investment Managers as head of funds of hedge funds. Minvielle worked as an economist for IPECODE from 1984 and then for Société Générale from 1988. From 1993, he held various positions in Société Générale's risk management division before moving to Lyxor AM, where he was in charge of hedge fund manager selection and risk monitoring. From 2003 to 2009, he managed funds of funds at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking.

Rockspring Property Investment Managers - Mischa Davis has been appointed as fund manager of the Rockspring Hanover Property Unit Trust. Davis spent nine years at Matrix Property Fund Management, where he became a fund manager and partner. Charles Baigler has also joined Rockspring as assistant fund manager for the company's PanEuropean Property Limited Partnership. Baigler joins from Catalyst Capital, where he spent four years as director responsible for acquisitions and management of assets in central and eastern Europe.

The Carlyle Group - Valeria Falcone has been made country head of real estate for Italy at the private equity investor. Falcone will be responsible for selecting investment opportunities in the market and for carrying out acquisitions for Carlyle Europe Real Estate Partners III, the group's third European fund. She joined Carlyle in 2004 as an associate director, was promoted to director in 2005 and, in 2008, took over responsibility for asset management of the group's Italian portfolio.

Heleba - Michael Kroeger will assume the role of general manager for the bank's international real estate lending operations in February. Kroeger joined Heleba in 2006 and has acted as deputy in this role since 2010.
