GLOBAL - PMT, Montae, JLT Investment Management, Deutsche Bank, Unigestion, bfinance, OVS Capital

PMT - Inge van den Doel has been appointed head of asset management at the €42.6bn pension fund. She succeeds Theo Jeurissen, who retired on 1 April. Van den Doel comes from the occupational association of investment professionals VBA Beleggingsprofessionals, where she has been director. Before then, she was head of asset management, financial stability and supervision of financial conglomerates at Dutch regulator De Nederlandsche Bank.

Montae - The Dutch pensions adviser has appointed Kitty Vriend as senior adviser at its governance bureau. Previously, Vriend was a board adviser for pension funds at pensions provider AZL. Montae also recently appointed Erwin van Doorn as senior adviser for corporate pension plans.

JLT Investment Management - Hilary Brown has been appointed investment manager and will be based in JLT's London office. She joins from Alexander Forbes, where she was an investment strategist specialising in asset allocation and portfolio construction.
 
Deutsche Bank - Thomas Mayer is set to step down as chief economist at Deutsche Bank Group and head of DB Research on 31 May. David Folkerts-Landau, head of markets research at Deutsche Bank, will become head of research from 1 June, succeeding Mayer as chief economist and head of DB Research.

Unigestion - Reto Germann has been appointed to lead business development in Germany and Austria. Germann began his career in 1993 at UBS Group before joining Barclays Capital in 2005 and Credit Suisse in 2009.

bfinance - The company has strengthened its presence in Germany with the appointment of Michael Wolfram. Wolfram joins as a relationship manager for local institutional investors. He is currently working in bfinance's London research team.

OVS Capital - The European equity-focused, event-driven investment manager is expanding its investment team with two new hires: Manuel Blanco and Zac Lewis. Blanco, formerly of Trafalgar Asset Managers, joins as an analyst, while Lewis, who previously worked at James Caird Asset Management, joins as a trader.
