GLOBAL - BMA, State Street, Fidelity, ING IM, Morley, Watson Wyatt, First State, Citigroup, Lyxor, SAM, ITS, Axa Framlington.

British Medical Association - The BMA is looking for a new head of pensions following Mark Belchamber's departure. Belchamber has joined as a senior consultant in the public sector team. Belchamber will focus on building the health and civil service areas, as well as advising on current projects.

State Street - Nick Wright is the group's new senior vice president and chief operating officer of its investment servicing business in the UK, Middle East and Africa. Wright previously worked with Investors Financial Services Corp, which was acquired by State Street on July 2. Wright will be based in London.

Fidelity - David Urch (formerly of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership) is joining Fidelity as portfolio manager to build a team of equity portfolio managers. He is expected to take up his new role in January 2008 and will work with Jonathan Cobb who joins in September, with a remit to build a team of UK equity portfolios managers (focusing on the institutional market) in Edinburgh.

ING Investment Management - Gerard Bergsma, member of the management committee of ING Investment Management Europe and member of ING Group's Management Council, will leave the company on October 1, to "pursue his career outside the group". The group has not yet found his replacement.
 
Morley - UBS' Spiro Andreadakis has joined the fund manager's European business development team as the new head of European sales administration, while Franklin Templeton's Laura Suárez Pajares joins the team's Spanish office as client operations manager.

Watson Wyatt - Duncan Knight is joining the company's defined contribution (DC) investment team in London, from Mercer Investment Consulting.

First State Investments - Danny Latham has been named as head of infrastructure investment for Europe. His appointment follows the firm's May 2007 launch of its First State European diversified infrastructure fund to institutional investors. Latham is currently the director of RREEF Infrastructure, based in London.

Citigroup - Naveed Sultan has been promoted to head of global transaction services in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) on October 1. He is based in London.

Lyxor Asset Management - Sjef Pieters, previously at Barclays Global Investors, has joined Lyxor, part of Societe General corporate and investment banking, where he will be responsible for ETF business development in the Benelux and alternative business development in the Netherlands.

Standard Asset Management - SAM, the London-based investment management division of Standard Bank, has promoted Alia Yousuf to head of emerging markets debt. Though this is a new role, she takes over responsibility from chief investment officer, Kevin Colglazier.

Independent Trustee Services - Richard Boniface has joined the company in the new
role of operations director. He was previously managing director of Paymaster.

AXA Framlington - Gemma Game will start as the new fund manager to the firm's healthcare team in October. Based in London, Game joins from Blackrock.
