GLOBAL - ICGN, RiskMetrics, Hymans Robertson, Nordea, BNP Paribas.

International Corporate Governance Network - Carl Rosén, head of corporate governance and communications at AP2, the Second Swedish National Pension Fund, has been appointed as executive director at ICGN. He replaces Anne Simpson who becomes senior portfolio manager for global equities at US pension fund CalPERS from May.

RiskMetrics - Knut Kjaer, former chief executive of Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) and currently a member of Dutch pension fund ABP's investment committee, will become president of the firm next month. He will report to Ethan Berman, chief executive officer, and will have direct responsibility for the firm's global risk and corporate governance businesses.

Hymans Robertson - Barry Mack has been appointed to the new position of head of governance and plan management at the consultancy. He joined from Mercer and, most recently, was head of pan-European pensions alongside earlier duties in governance and operations.

Nordea - Jan Larsson has joined as head of group identity and communications. He was previously a consultant at McKinsey & Co but also held several positions 2004-2006 within the Prime Minister's team and acted as political adviser to the Ministry of Finance. He replaces Lauri Peltola who left to join Stora Enso earlier this year.

BNP Paribas - Gilles Glicenstein, chief executive of BNP Paribas Investment Partners, died last week at the age of 44. He is understood to have been ill for some considerable time, but prior to his death had been working on the integration of Fortis into BNP.
