GLOBAL - The Association of Corporate Trustees, Legal & General, Vontobel Asset Management, PIMCO, BNY Mellon Asset Management, Deloitte, Hymans Robertson, Capita Hartshead, Lane Clark & Peacock, Olivetree Securities

The Association of Corporate Trustees - Esther White takes over from Graham Withers as chair of the pensions committee. White is currently director of HR Trustees.

Legal & General - Andrea Blance, currently group financial controller, has been named group chief risk officer. Blance will take up her new role next month and report to group chief financial officer Nigel Wilson, as well as join the company's executive committee.

Vontobel Asset Management - Matthias Klein has left his position as head of the company's German operations, as well as his position on the board of Bank Vontobel Europe. A replacement has yet to be named.

PIMCO - Maria Gordon, who previously worked for Goldman Sachs in London, has been hired to start an emerging-markets stocks group. At Goldman Sachs, Gordon headed up an emerging-markets equity team managing $8bn of assets. She will join in October and begin building up a small London-based team.

BNY Mellon Asset Management - Jonathan Little, vice-chairman and interim co-head of the asset management division with Mitchell Harris following the earlier departure of Ronald Hanley, is leaving. The move means Harris will be the sole interim head, while reports suggest Little will join Kedge Capital as chief executive of its global asset management business. Additionally, Ryan Rajkumar has been named head of investment solutions for the UK wholesale sales team. Rajkumar, who will be reporting to Scott Goodsir, joins from Quercus Investments and has previously worked at Fidelity Investments as a sales director, as well as investment sales director at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Deloitte - Richard Slater and Mark McClintock join from PricewaterhouseCoopers in Edinburgh and Belfast, respectively. McClintock previously led PwC's trustee services business, while Slater was a partner and has also worked at Bacon & Woodrow and Aon.

Hymans Robertson - Patrick Bloomfield has been promoted to head of trustee solutions. Rob Harper, who previously held the role, will now lead Hymans Robertson's efforts for new business. Bloomfield was previously a partner and has worked at the company for more than a decade.

Capita Hartshead - Martin Good has joined the London office as senior consultant, charged with promoting a range of products focusing on data integrity, procurement, benchmarking, liability reduction and governance. Good, a former chairman of the Pensions Management Institute's London group, has worked for Mercer and Towers Perrin, as well as Aon and Hewitt over the past 25 years.

Lane Clark & Peacock - Martyn Phillips has been named senior consultant within the company's corporate consulting practice. Phillips joins from Prudential, where he worked with sponsors and trustees on de-risking projects such as buy-ins.

Olivetree Securities - James Netherthorpe has been appointed chief operating officer of the equities brokerage firm. Netherthorpe, who will start his new role in October, joins from hedge fund manager Marshall Wace. He has previously worked for both Goldman Sachs and UBS in pan-European equity sales.
