GLOBAL - HSBC AM, Watson Wyatt, Threadneedle AM, Odey AM, Skandia Investment Group, British Property Federation, PensionDCsions, The Pensions Trust

HSBC Asset Management - John Flint has been promoted to chief executive of the asset management business, following Mark McCombe's move to become CEO of HSBC Hong Kong. Flint is currently HSBC group treasurer and deputy head of global markets as well as head of global markets for EMEA but will take up the new role in January 2010.

Watson Wyatt - Damien Loveday has been promoted to global head of hedge fund research, taking on the role from Craig Baker, who leads the wider global manager research team. He will work alongside three other global manager research heads: Margaret Frost in bonds, Martin Knowles in equities and Jane Welsh in private markets.

Threadneedle Asset Management - Campbell Fleming is leaving JP Morgan Asset Management where is head of UK business to join Threadneedle in November as head of distribution.

Odey Asset Management - Simon Todd and Michael Nickson have been appointed to run the group's global equities strategy. They previously worked at MFS Investment Management in global and european equities.

Skandia Investment Group - The executive team has been revamped, following the recent appointment of Nils Bolmstrand as CEO. James Milliard will continue as CIO in charge of portfolio management and research but Marc Bulstrode has moved from finance director to chief operating office. Richard Vincent also becomes head of propositions for product development and open architecture and Rob Williams is global investment sales and marketing director for institutional sales and business development marketing. And Roy McKean is extending his duties as chief risk, legal and compliance officer.

British Property Federation - Toby Courtauld, chief executive of Great Portland Estates plc, will become the next BPF President in 2011. He will take over from current president Hermes' Rupert Clarke, and John Richards who will be president in 2010/11.

PensionDCsions - Nigel Aston, previously head of strategy and propositions for the corporate channel at Standard Life, is now business development director.

The Pensions Trust - Mike Scrowston is the new head of finance, having previously head of finance at Scarborough Building Society. He will be based in Leeds and report to Stephen Nichols, chief executive.
