GLOBAL - People moves roundup: Permira, Caceis, BlackRock, State Street, Watson Wyatt, BNP Paribas, NBIM, Fortis, Investec, Millennium Global Investments, Premier Pensions Management, Morse, Nordea.

Permira - Former Dutch minister of finance, Gerrit Zalm, is joining Damon Buffini's private equity fund Permira as adviser. He will help Permira find investment opportunities, while supporting the growth of the firms in Permira's investment portfolio.

Caceis - The banking group has announced, in accordance with its statute requiring a rotation of chairman and vice-chairman every two years, Yves Perrier, member of the executive committee at Crédit Agricole and head of the asset management business, has been made chairman, while François Ladam, member of the management board of Natixis, vice-chairman.

BlackRock - Stephen Hunnisett has started at the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) fixed income team in London as a senior credit analyst. He joins the firm from Moody's.

State Street - State Street Corporation has appointed Chris Perretta as executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for its global information technology businesses. He reports to vice chairman Joseph Antonellis, and joins from General Electric Commercial Finance (GE), where he was a senior vice president and CIO.

Watson Wyatt - Rob Collinson, previously at Deloitte, has joined the London-based non-life team as a consultant.

BNP Paribas - Roger Keller has been promoted to replace Alan Mudie as chief investment officer of the company's Geneva office. Mudie left earlier this year to join the Swiss Syz bank.

NBIM - Anne Kvam has been appointed as head of corporate governance at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM). She will join from her current post as legal director at Norske Skog.

Fortis - Jan-Michiel Hessels, currently a member of the Fortis board, has been elected vice-chairman of the Fortis board of directors. He will replace Jan Slechte, who stepped down in May. Meanwhile, Fortis Investments' multi management arm has hired Joseph Odili  from Fidelity Multi-Management as senior portfolio manager for Asia and emerging market equity. Barclay's Jim Snow will start as product specialist, while Pankaj Shah was promoted to senior portfolio manager. HSBC's Havard Tveit also starts as senior portfolio manager. The research team has been expanded with Raiffeisen's Cornelius Tuerk, Alexia Krug from Aon, Russell's Peter Barany and Karima Rahali, from Fortis' RFP team in Paris.

Investec Administration Services - Chris Hickling, previously at Close Funds Services, has started as a director. Janine Lewis has been promoted to client services director, while Bob Banfield has moved to become a managing director. All three are Guernsey-based.

Millennium Global Investments - Robert Garwood started earlier this week at the firm's London office as managing director, business development. Before Garwood worked at UBS.

Premier Pensions Management - Actuary John Reeve joins the pension advisory firm to establish a new regional office in the centre of Bristol from which pension consulting services will be provided. Reeve previously held senior roles at Aon, Hazell Carr and JLT and is also currently chairman of the Raising Standards in Pensions Administration (RSPA) Group, a post that he will continue to hold.

Morse - Stuart Richford was appointed as consultant to the consulting firm's Channel Islands' based financial services practice. Richford previously worked for ABN Amro and Deutsche Bank.

Nordea - The Nordic bank set up a nomination committee which will propose board members and the chairman of the board, as well as remuneration to the board members and auditor. The nomination committee comprises one representative for each one of the four largest shareholders in terms of voting rights. Jonas Iversen, director at the Swedish ministry of enterprise, energy and communications, Kari Stadigh, group deputy CEO of the Finnish Sampo Bank, Mogens Hugo, chairman of Nordea Danmark-fonden, and Christer Elmehagen, CEO of AMF Pension have been appointed. Iversen is also chairman of the nomination committee.
