UK – A research group is to discuss the future of European supplementary pensions at a seminar in London in September.

The European Network for Research on Supplementary Pensions, or ENRSP, says the topic will be: “How are supplementary pensions being developed in a world where social security is under attack?”

The seminar takes place in London on September 19-21. “The purpose of the seminar is to provide an opportunity for network members to meet and discuss, in a relatively informal way, their current work in the field of supplementary pensions,” the ENRSP says.

It has called for papers to be submitted, with a deadline of June 30. The seminar’s work will be presented at a more formal conference in 2004.

The ENRSP aims to provide a framework for scientific co-operation and make members’ research results available to the public.
