GLOBAL - LODH, VBL, SSGA, F&C, ABP, Scottish Pensions Trustees, P-Solve, Watson Wyatt, IPM.

Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch - Christopher Walker, managing director of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership's international division, has been appointed executive vice president, while Auda Advisor's John Derrick will become senior vice president, and BNP Parisbas' Veronika Orekhovskaia has been named vice president of LODH in the UK, based in the new London office.

VBL - The €10bn pension fund for German public sector employees has promoted Georg Geenen to the executive board. He previously worked for VBL's asset management division.

State Street Global Advisors - Six senior executives have moved to SSgA's global fixed-income team. John Kirby and Kevin Anderson, already SSgA executives, will co-lead global fixed-income beta solutions. Anderson also will co-lead European and pan-Asian regions with William Street, also an SSgA executive. William Cunningham, previously at State Street's Global Markets group, is now global head of credit strategies and fixed-income research; RBS/Greenwich Capital's Thomas Hagstrom, who has been appointed global head of fixed-income business management; and Loomis Sayles' Brett Wander who has been appointed global head of active fixed-income and alpha strategies.

F&C - Peter Stage has been appointed to the new position of head of credit research, joining from Gordian Knot Limited.

ABP - Derk Jan Kiewiet, a lecturer at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, has started at the Dutch ABP pension fund as innovation manager. In the new role, Kiewiet will manage innovation projects from ABP's new Innovation Competence Centre.

Scottish Pensions Trustees - The Scottish arm of Capital Cranfield Trustees has appointed Roger MacNicol as a further client director. He joins from Jardine Lloyd Thompson.

P-Solve Asset Solutions - Paul Kemmer, from Armajaro Securities, and Aon Consulting's Peter Hill-King have joined as investment advisers; Gissings' Sachin Patel joined as an investment associate. All are based in London.

Watson Wyatt
- RPMI's Nigel McNeil will join Watson Wyatt's London office, where he will focus on a communication consultant role.

IPM - Dominicus Freiherr von Mentzingen, previously a managing director and head of investments at UBS Global Asset Management in Germany, has joined IPM in an advisory role to lead the expansion into German-speaking Europe.
