ING Investment Management - ING's investment management arm is looking for a new chief investment officer following the transfer of Maes van Lanschot to head of credit capitals at ING Group.

Credit Agricole Asset Management - Jean-Luc Paraire, head of muliti-management with the Paris-based asset manager has left the company. Marc Romano has taken over his responsibilities.

Mercer - Lorant Porkolab has left Hymans Roberton to start at Mercer in London as a principal within the financial strategy group (FSG). He will report to Dave Robertson and David Fogarty, joint heads of the FSG in the UK.

Sentinel Group - Meanwhile, the Mercer's Sentinel Group has hired Julian Mant, former chief financial officer of MKM Longboat Capital Advisors, as principal. The Sentinel Group is a global consulting unit within Mercer's investment consulting business that specialises in investment operations, implementation and governance.

Watson Wyatt - Simon Davidge, from Hewitt, and Andrew Turnbull, of PFP Benefit Solutions, have been appointed as specialist defined contribution (DC) pension consultants in its Leeds office.

Hewitt Associates - Keith Lewis has started at the trustee advisory group in Leeds. He joins Hewitt from Watson Wyatt.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management - Joseph McDonnell, previoulsy responsible for asset allocation and manager selection for Shell International's global pension funds, was named head of the global portfolio solutions (GPS) platform in Europe, Middle East and Africa. GPS assists clients in understanding and managing complex portfolio-level issues and provides transparent investment insight.

Threadneedle - Esther Perkins will start in the new role of head of Europe, Austrialia and Far East (EAFE) in London. Perkins joins from Standard Life.

Legal & General Investment Management - Richard Black was appointed as an analyst in the UK equities team. He joins from Old Mutual Asset Management.

HSBC Actuaries and Consultants Limited - Aon's Jon Hutchings has joined the firm as consultancy manager.  Based in Bristol, he will lead  HACL's new business work in covering parts of the South of England, South Wales and the Midlands.

Aon Consulting Worldwide - BearingPoint's Lisa Caldwell has joined the US division as chief operations officer, a newly created role within Aon Consulting.

State Street Corporation - Allan Nedergaard, joining from Northern Trust in London, has been appointed to sales manager, focusing on expanding State Street's investment servicing business in the Nordic region. Nedergaard will report to Simone Vroegop, vice president and director of State Street's investor services business in the Netherlands.

CB Richard Ellis Investors - Kim Hourihan, previously at Starwood Capital Group, has started as a portfolio manager and a managing director of the managed accounts group in Los Angeles.

Toscafund - John McFarlane, former chief executive of ANZ, has joined the activist hedge fund as a director.

Rowanmoor Pensions - Capita SIP Services' Robert Graves has started at the small self administered scheme practitioner in the newly-created role of product development manager.
