GLOBAL - Northern Trust, Russell Investments, Aviva Investors, Aon Consulting, Buck Consultants, Laven Partners, Prupim, ICAP, Campbell Lutyens

Northern Trust - Madeleine Senior, who joined the firm in 1994, is now managing director of the Nordic region, overseeing all activities across Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Mireille Andersson will head up sales for the region, having previously worked at SEB as head of global sales.

Russell Investments - Irshaad Ahmad has moved from the company's Canadian business, which he joined in 2004, to become the managing director for the UK business.

Aviva Investors - Jean-François Boulier will become chief executive of Aviva Investors France on 21 September, replacing Eric Duval de la Guierce, who is stepping down. Boulier is currently chief investment officer at the firm's French operation. Pascal Heurtault, currently head of equity, will become CIO and de la Guierce will continue as an adviser (‘conseiller') to both Alain Dromer and Boulier. He will also remain on the Aviva Investors executive committee until the end of 2009 and on the Aviva France executive until June 2010.

Aon Consulting - David Thompson has changed his role and become head of the PPF (Pension Protection Fund) division, to reduce the time that failed companies' pension schemes take to enter the PPF.

Buck Consultants - Girish Menezes has been made a principal at the firm's global HR technology and administration business. He was previously business development manager at Capita Hartshead.

Laven Partners - Robert Mirsky has joined as managing director, to develop an alternative investment platform for family offices, institutional investors and wealth managers. He was formerly partner and co-leader of the European hedge fund practice at Ernst & Young.

Prupim - Jennifer Trayner has been appointed director of risk management, based in London. She was previously senior manager overseeing operational risk management in Royal Bank of Scotland's retail, corporate and commercial businesses.

ICAP - Laura Prager and Linda Prager have been hired to act as co-heads and managing directors of the alternative investments group, which will support investors interested in buying and selling secondary interests in hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds as well as other illiquid assets. Both previously worked as principals at LP Strategic Capital.

Campbell Lutyens - Richard Allsopp is joining the firm as a partner on 12 October, to focus on raising private equity and infrastructure funds. He was previously global head of the private funds group at UBS.
