Thomson Financial has started collecting data for its 2001 Extel Survey, which aims to become Europe’s broadest and most thorough indicator of financial excellence based on responses from investment banks, fund management houses and corporations.
This year the survey will expand its data collection across Europe including nominations from quoted companies on the rating of fund management institutions, on a pan-European and country-by-country basis.
The survey aims to reflect the way the investment market is heading by focusing on teams rather than individuals and by giving large firms with increased representation a 1–25 weight scale across 10 bands.
IPE readers wishing to participate in the 2001 Extel Survey can access the voting site on www.thomsonextelsurvey.com until May 25. Results will be announced in June.
