GLOBAL - Syz, PIMCO, F&C, CBRE, BVI, NTGI, JPMAM, BDO Stoy Hayward, AXA IM, T. Rowe Price, LCP, Esofac

Syz Bank - BNP Paribas' former chief investment officer Alan Mudie has joined Geneva-based bank Syz & Co as chief executive officer of its Oyster Sicav investment funds.

PIMCO - Mohamed El-Erian will rejoin the London-based firm early next year as co-chief investment officer and co-chief executive officer. He currently works the Harvard Management Company.

F&C - DeAM's Paras Anand has joined F&C in London as head of European equities. In the new position, he will have overall responsibility for the firm's continental European and pan-European equities teams.

CB Richard Ellis Investors - Boston-based Vic Bucchere has been promoted to managing director in charge of acquisitions for the firm's managed accounting group in the US. Simultaneously, it is reported that Caj Virta and Ole Horn have left CBRE to join Savills in Stockholm. Both will work as property advisors.

BVI - German asset management association BVI said it had elected Bernd Vorbeck, chief executive of German fund administrator Universal Investment, as the ninth member of its board. Vorbeck replaces Bernd Wagner, who resigned as chief executive of Universal last March and thereby gave up his BVI board seat.

Northern Trust Global Investments - NTGI has hired BGI's Mark Sodergren, to be based in Chicago as senior portfolio manager the in quantitative active team; Scott Hammond will join the New York international index team from the Bank of New York; DeAM's Greg Behar was appointed investment strategist for the global quantitative team, also in New York, and Jacob Weaver has been promoted to head the London and Tokyo-based global index portfolio management team.

JPMorgan Asset Management - Stefan Behring is the new client advisor in the firm's Nordic institutional team. He will relocate to Stockholm from Frankfurt where he currently works for Invesco. Charlotte Hickey-Brown joins as consultant relationship manager to the UK institutional business from Bedlam Asset Management.

BDO Stoy Hayward Investment Management - Robert Kingston, previously at Punter Southall, will join the company's corporate pensions and benefits team as senior pensions consultant. He will be based in the British Midlands.

AXA Investment Managers - HSBC's Pierre Stiennon has joined the firm's London-based responsible investment team as senior investment analyst.

T. Rowe Price - Auke Koopal was appointed institutional client service executive in the client service team. He will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients in the Netherlands and across central Europe. Based in Amsterdam, Auke joins from Fortis Mees Pierson where he worked as a senior fixed income investment manager.

Lane Clark & Peacock - Glyn Fullelove has left Invensys to be a senior consultant within LCP's corporate consulting practice. Mark Smith joins employee benefit consulting, leaving PWC.

Esofac - Aon's Wim Windmolens has joined the Belgian actuarial firm as partner to assist in developing the actuarial consultancy services in the employee benefits.
