DENMARK – Kirstein Finans has tendered up to €100m in large-cap Japanese equities on behalf of a Danish pension fund via IPE-Quest.

The search (QN558) is for long only Japanese equities, with the target being to outperform the Topix index irrespective of the style in the market.

The brief calls for: actively managed and style neutral. The mandate size is an initial €65m, expected to rise to €100m within three years. Multi-manager products are not of interest.

The mandate will be packaged as a Danish fund solution.

The closing date is December 14.
