EUROPE - The Luxembourg and Dublin branches of Crédit Agricole Investor Services Bank Luxembourg have changed their names to CACEIS Bank Luxembourg and CACEIS Bank Luxembourg Dublin Branch, respectively.

This forms part of the new securities services joint venture between French banks Crédit Agricole S.A. and Groupe Caisse d’Epargne.

“The new names assert the two entities’ place within newly-formed CACEIS group, which combines the investor services business lines of Crédit Agricole SA and Groupe Caisse d’Epargne, dedicated to institutional clients,” said a CACEIS press statement.

The venture – which came into play towards the end of September – made CACEIS the third largest fund administrator in Luxembourg with more than €100bn in assets under custody and with just over €105bn in assets under administration.

A presence in six European countries, including Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, also makes it a leading European fund administrator.

The CACEIS group currently has €681bn in assets, €1,435bn in assets under custody, more than 5,000 portfolios and 2,300 staff.
