US – The 128 billion dollar California Public Employees' Retirement System, or Calpers, has named Larry Jensen as chief of its office of audit services.

It said in a statement that Jensen, who joined Calpers in June 1995, has served as acting chief of audit services since October, when Thomas Britting retired. He will now oversee 30 auditors.

"Larry has been a real asset to Audit Services and to the entire organization," said Calpers’ general counsel Peter Mixon. Calpers is the largest public pension fund in the US.
