UK - Fraser Slater, co-head of the UK equities team at the £29bn (€43bn) Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), has left and the fund is looking for replacements.

The USS has placed newspaper ads to recruit a portfolio manager for its UK equities team which manages a £6.2bn portfolio. The team is headed by Ben Levinstein.

His co-head, Slater has now left the fund. No one else at the fund, the occupational pension plan for academic and academic-related staff, was available for comment.

In December last year both Levinstein and Fraser had said that they were seeking to enlarge the UK equities team but did not plan to change the size of the allocation.
