FRANCE - Credit Agricole Asset Management’s client relationship manager for Switzerland, Alain Barthel, is to join Morgan Stanley.

Barthel, who has worked at Credit Agricole as until last week, will shortly join Morgan Stanley.

A Credit Agricole official told IPE that Barthel has been replaced by Stephane Dumont and Marina Hirtz, who will report to Jean-Francois Penson, head of clients, international development.

Switzerland was being considered as a “priority area of development”.

“It is an area in which there is a strong potential for development,” the official said, adding that the Hirtz and Dumont’s team could be boosted with new staff in the immediate future.
