Dow Jones Stoxx has launched 75 new smaller focused indices, derived from the 600-company Dow Jones Stoxx index. They cover the different market capitalisation segments of the pan-European equity markets.
A series of the new size indices will be launched for the Dow Jones Stoxx index and each of the subsets. Each series will consist of a Large index (covering the largest 200 companies), a Mid index (covering the middle 200), a Large & Mid index (covering the largest 400), a Small index (covering the smallest 200), and 19 Large & Mid sector indices based on the largest 400 companies. However, the series for the Europe ex-euro and Nordic regions will only include three size indices each.
