GERMANY/US – Siemens Financial Services (SFS) pension advisory team has become the first German pensions consultant to be registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The registration allows SFS to expand its capital market oriented pension model outside of Europe and into the US.
According to SFS, the registration underlines the quality and scope of their service, since US pension trusts “set the highest standard”.
The firm says it also allows them experience of working with funds that adhere to the ‘prudent man’ principle, which SFS believes will be key in the new European pension landscape and principle of pan-European pensions reform.
