UK - Caroline Allensby-Green will join Hewitt after 10 years at rival Aon Consulting.

She is a qualified actuary. In her latest position at Aon Investment Consulting she was responsible for advising UK and overseas defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.

In a press release Hewitt points out Allensby-Green's knowledge of different investment options, including diversified growth strategies, alternative assets and LDI solutions.

"This is a challenging time for many pension schemes seeking both to reduce inherent risk and deliver enhanced returns from their assets," Allensby-Green said. "I am looking forward to working with Hewitt's clients and helping them to develop their investment strategies and to benefit from the depth of Hewitt's resources."

A spokesman from Aon told IPE that the company was currently in the process of interviewing people to replace Allensby-Green.

Since the beginning of this year Hewitt had suffered several senior defections. Kerrin Rosenberg joined Dutch consultancy Cardano, Christine Farquhar left to go to Cambridge Associates and Sally Bridgeland took on the new role of CEO at the BP pension scheme.

A few days ago, Hewitt announced the hiring of Tim Currell from Watson Wyatt.
