One of the oldest defined-contribution pension schemes in the UK - operated by the Logica Pension Fund for more than 20 years - has appointed Mercury Asset Management (MAM) to manage £83.5m ($138m) of assets on behalf of its members. MAM has some £1.2bn worth of assets under management on behalf of over 240 DC schemes. Logica was advised by the Watson Wyatt consultancy in the selection and appointment of MAM.
