UK - The Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) will replace its salary and pensions payroll services for the judiciary, members of the European Parliament and senior political and public office holders in the UK.

A spokeswoman told IPE today the payroll services will delivered by Xafinity Paymaster from September, once the contract with Paymaster and Capital Hartshead ends.

The DCA put out an official tender notice last November, saying the tender was an "opportunity to rationalise the contracts it manages".

The department then reconfigured the contracts it had with Capita, and bidders could express interests to tender for the salary or pensions payroll only or for both mandates.

The DCA manages the Judicial Pensions Scheme (JPS), an unfunded, salary-related pension scheme open to most members of the Judiciary.
