UK - Consulting actuaries Lane Clark & Peacock has named three new partners: Ian Gamon, Aiden Coloe and Mary McGrath.

Gamon joined LCP in 1997 and works in Winchester advising trustees and companies on pension provision in the UK and overseas.

Coloe rejoined the firm in 2004 specialises in setting up and implementing new pension schemes, risk review and analysis, plus providing ongoing advice to clients on various pensions related matters.

McGrath joined in 2002 to head LCP's PR and marketing activities.

"We are delighted to be making these three partnership appointments. Our marketplace is going through major changes and challenges which will continue for the foreseeable future," said senior partner Martin Slack.

"Ian, Aiden and Mary add a diverse set of skills that will contribute to LCP's response to these changes."

In November the firm said it plans to launch a defined contribution scheme that targets a specified level of pension benefits - which it likens to a single-member defined benefit scheme.

And December saw the launch of two specialist practices, LCP Trustee Consulting and LCP Corporate Consulting, to offer advice to the trustees and corporate sponsors of pension schemes.
