EPPF chairman Ieke van den Burg, a Dutch MEP, will welcome the participants. Austria's Othmar Karas, who was the rapporteur for the directive, will provide the Parliament's view.
Ivo van Es, the European Commission's DG Internal Market administrator on pensions, who is in charge of the directive follow-up, will also speak.
Other speakers include Mihaly Erdos, chairman of the pension committee of CEIOPS, the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors. Chris Verhaegen, secretary-general of the European Federation for Retirement Provision will provide the market participants' view.
