EUROPE – The Association for Investment Management Research is to host an online forum on regaining shareholder confidence in the single European market.

The event takes place on February 5 at 1300 GMT and poses the question: “What are the most essential reforms for regaining investor confidence within the single European market?”

Panellists include Paul Arlman of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges, Andrew Fleming of ABN Amro Asset Management and Rob Hardy of JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management.

The host for the web event will be AIMR’s European vice president John Barrass; it will be moderated by Wall Street Journal news editor Art Mooradian.

Last month the AIMR placed newspaper ads calling for investors’ interests to come first.
