Alliance Capital Management has appointed Lars Nielsen as vice-president and head of European institutional marketing, with responsibility to co-ordinate this and client servicing in Europe. He joins from BARRA, where he was director, equity sales and client relations. Nielson also opened and ran the firm's offices in Paris and Frankfurt.
