NETHERLANDS – Luciano de Almeida has been named as head of risk management at ING Investment Management Europe to replace Remco van Eeuwijk, who has joined Wilshire Associates.

“I can confirm that Remco van Eeuwijk was former head of risk management of ING Investment Management Europe,” said an ING spokesman. “Remco has been replaced by Luciano de Almeida.”

Investment technology, consulting and management firm Wilshire said it has hired van Eeuwijk as a vice president at its Wilshire Analytics arm.

The firm – which last month unveiled a marketing alliance with the Bank of New York – said van Eeuwijk, 34, is responsible for research and development for Wilshire's new analytical offering, iQuantum. He is the Dutch representative on the European Investment Performance Council.

Wilshire also named CMS BondEdge’s Derek Kannenberg as an associate.
