SWITZERLAND – Bank Leu has issued a request for proposal for its new Swiss-registered hedge fund products, though it did not disclose the size of mandates.

"Bank Leu, Switzerland's oldest private bank, is inviting applications from hedge fund advisors and fund of fund managers interested in managing/advising on the bank's newly formed Switzerland-registered fund of hedge fund products,” says Peter Gruenblatt, head of alternative investments at the bank.

He said it has received regulatory approval for three new funds but that no final decision has been made about when they will be launched.

“Interested parties should email their details to advisor.search@leu.com by February 14, 2003 to receive further details," he adds. In mid-February it will disclose the size of mandates and fee structure. He says Bank Leu is targeting the end of March for the final decision.
